Position Summary :
Vallen's Manager Inventory Control is responsible for collaborating with key business stakeholders to provide expertise with vendor managed inventory.
Works with key business stakeholders in the management of capital expenditures (ie vehicle purchases, maintenance, or leases).
Leads managers and / or supervisors in performing timely VMI activities and warehouse functions in assigned geographical areas.
Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance ensuring customer needs are met within budget constraints.
Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Guarantees that inventory audits and cycle counts are performed, and solutions are found for inventory discrepancies.
Enforces the driver qualification process for VMI associates in assigned markets. Ensures completion of preventative maintenance and adherence to standard process and procedures on vending hardware / software.

Education requirement : Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant warehouse, inventory (cycle) counting or delivery, experience.
Associated degree in SCM or related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and a min of 10 years of relevant VMI, warehouse, inventory (cycle) counting or delivery, experience.
or demonstrated knowledge of various manufacturing operations functions, such as machine operations, materials management, production testing, engineering, and / or quality assurance and control.
ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
